About the Mission
Foundations and first steps In Prague, the Chaplaincy Mission for Orthodox Ukrainians in Czechia was officially established, bringing Ukrainians together to form a spiritual community rooted in faith and tradition.
The growth of the community Our mission gladly welcomes new members and expands its work through programs that serve the spiritual and cultural needs of our community.
Cultural and educational programs Our choir is preparing for the feast of Saint Nicholas and the Nativity of Christ, and the community is planning Ukrainian-language courses, a children's Sunday school, and cultural events.
Our story begins in 2025, when a small group of faithful Ukrainians came together with a shared vision: to build a spiritual home in Prague.
Together we preserve our sacred traditions, strengthen one another, and grow in faith, love, and devotion.
Our mission gladly welcomes new members and expands its work through programs that serve the spiritual and cultural needs of our community.
We hope that everyone searching for a Ukrainian Orthodox community in Prague will find prayer, support, and the sense of a spiritual home here.
Even now our choir is preparing for the feast of Saint Nicholas and the Nativity of Christ, learning carols and church hymns.
The community is also planning Ukrainian-language courses, a children's Sunday school, and cultural events so that we can preserve our heritage and raise the next generation in love for God and tradition.
